Two Catch Up Days have been arrange - First 2 Sundays in February

7th Feb and 14 Feb 10:00am to 02:00pm @ Ted Burge Pavillion

These days are for manual payments and new players to bring down proof of age

- either their birth certificate or passport + a photostat copy of it PLEASE

We will also try to answer any questions you may have.

Registrations are done on line - we do not do registrations at these two days

Round No 11 Ladies / Girls matches are cancelled & WILL NOT BE PLAYED

due to no spare dates to allow for catch up games

Round 11 Mixed Competition fixtures have been transferred to Saturday 4th July

Round 11 for the 35L’s can be played as mid-week catch up fixtures should the clubs concur but, the Ladies Round 11 will have to be cancelled as there are no spare dates to allow for the games to be caught up

Please Note

Only Coaches and Managers displaying current 2014 accreditation will be permitted in the Technical Area

Coaches and managers who failure to display GDSFA 2014 accreditation will be removed from the Technical Area

Only 5 named substitutes/interchange players are permitted to sit inside the Technical Area and

must cover their playing shirt with a Bib not of the same colour as the playing shirt

Suspended players and players not listed on the team sheet are not permitted in the Technical Area and

will be asked to leave by either Match Officials or Ground Officials

Club Management are asked to address this requirement with their Coaches and Managers

* NEW Mini-Roo RULE *

( GDSFA Ruling )

* Effective from Saturday June 14th, 2014 for all Mini-Roo fixtures U/8 to U/11 *

"All clubs are to indicate on their Mini Roo fields a quarter line with cones or poles which attacking players must retire to prior to any goal kicks being taken. Attacking players are not to enter that last quarter until such time as a defensive player has touched the ball or the ball has crossed over that line/marker.”

This weekend is Round No 4 - all players should have, by now submitted their photo.

The new cards will be printed this week , the new cards can be picked up at

Ted Burge canteen this Saturday morning from 7:30am.

 

NO CARD - NO PLAY

 

Good afternoon

Effective Round 4 all players in age-groups from Under 9 are to be in possession of their player ID card.

No Player ID card no play, with no exceptions

No player may take the field of play until an ID card bearing the same true name as the player,
the same true likeness and age/division.

d) Each player must have his/her ID card in their possession and the ID cards must be inspected
by both team managers and compared with the team sheet. Teams failing to produce ID cards
prior to the commencement will automatically forfeit the match, and incur a fine of $100.00. Any
subsequent game conducted is not sanctioned and no discussion regarding results or outcomes
of such game will be entertained.

e) No protest or appeal concerning a match shall be heard unless both Clubs concerned agree that
the ID cards have been sighted by the opposing coach or manager prior to the game being
started.

f) The ID cards of the reserve players (Premier League) shall be presented to the referee or
assistant referee as the player takes the field. Where a non-GDSRA referee officiates, ID
cards are to be presented to the referee for inspection in the presence of both team managers,
coaches and captains.

Also players names are not to be written on team sheets. The only players to take the field are those players whose names appear on the GDSFA team sheet generated through iCompMan

Please ensure that all requests for player ID cards are received no later than 12noon Thursday 1 May this week and COB Wednesdays for the remainder of the season.

Requests received for player ID cards after these times will be printed in the following week
